Returns & Refunds Policy
Saltbreak Surf
This Returns & Refunds Policy forms part of the Saltbreak Surf Terms of Service and should be read together with them. By placing an order on our website, you agree to this policy.
1. Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
You are entitled to a refund, replacement, or repair if a product:
Is faulty or defective
Is not as described
Is not fit for its intended purpose
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies available to you under the Australian Consumer Law.
2. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If you receive a product that is faulty, damaged, or not what you ordered, please contact us within a reasonable time after delivery.
To help us assess the issue, we may request:
Your order number
A description of the issue
Photos or other evidence
Once the issue is confirmed, we will arrange a refund, replacement, or repair in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law, at no additional cost to you.
3. Change of Mind Returns
We do not have to provide refunds or exchanges for change-of-mind purchases, including but not limited to:
Incorrect size or fit
Incorrect colour
You no longer want the item
At our discretion, we may accept a change-of-mind return if:
The item is unused, unworn, and in original condition
Original tags and packaging are intact
The return request is made within a reasonable timeframe
Return shipping costs are paid by the customer
Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
4. Sale and Discounted Items
Unless required by law:
Sale, clearance, or discounted items are final sale
No refunds or exchanges are offered for change of mind
This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law if an item is faulty.
5. Return Process
All returns must be approved before being sent back.

Reason for return
Photos if the item is faulty or damaged
Return instructions and the return address will be provided once your request is approved. Items returned without prior approval may not be accepted.
6. Refunds
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method
Refunds will be processed within a reasonable time after we receive and inspect the returned item
Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider
7. Exchanges
Exchanges are subject to product availability. If an exchange is not available, a refund or store credit may be offered, in line with this policy and the Australian Consumer Law.
8. Limitation
To the extent permitted by law, Saltbreak Surf’s liability in relation to returned goods is limited to:
Replacing the goods, or
Refunding the purchase price
This clause does not apply where liability cannot be limited under the Australian Consumer Law.
